“She was rescued and was severely dehydrated. She is currently receiving medical attention at Kenyatta National Hospital,” Red Cross spokeswoman Arnolda Shiundu told Reuters, adding that the girl was rescued at about 4 a.m.
Live TV footage showed the National Youth Service and firefighters removing stones by hand and a crowd cheering as the child was removed from the rubble.
134 people were rescued but more are feared trapped under the rubble. The Red Cross on Sunday said 69 people were still missing after the collapse.
Officials have put the death toll so far at 21. Aid workers had said on Monday that the chances of finding more survivors was unlikely.
